I'm a virgin and have never been touched down below before apart Saturday night. My boyfriend fingered me and he was quite rough and the next day i noticed a little bit of blood in my underwear and when id been going to the toilet i was bleeding only a small bit, can you please tell me if this is anything to worry about? Thanks x

It might have been some hymen breakage, but it's probably some scratches inside your vagina. They should heal on their own. Are you both up to date on your STI tests? 'Cause that kind of contact can transmit infections.

For future reference--make sure his hands are clean and his nails are short and neat. You also want to have him wear latex gloves. Try using some water-based lube if you want.
