Hi... first of all, I'm sorry for opening yet another shaving/waxing related post, but I used the search function and was unable to find the answer I needed.
Anyway, my question is about waxing while on your period. I've heard that you shouldn't wax your legs when you menstruate because it's more painful for you and because hair grows back a lot quicker than if you're not on your period when you do it... I just wanted to know if those rumours are true, or if it makes no difference at all.
(I didn't think the question fit into the 'Shaving FAQ' post below, but if it shouldn't be here, then I'm sory... )

Waxing right before, during, and after your period causes more pain than usual. Your skin is more sensitive.
You can usually find answers to this kind of stuff if you do a few internet searches. Or call your local salon... scarleteen really isn't the place for it.
