I found a painless lump on my left groin, just under my left hip bone. I went to the doctor, and she said it felt like a swollen lymph node. She didn't tell me much about what that meant, or the causes. I have been feeling fatigued, dizzy, and overall not well lately. My stomache has been very irritable lately.I can't eat without feeling sick, and I rarely want to eat. Could is be more than a swollen lymph node? Could the sickness have caused the swollen lymph node? Any suggestions would be welcomed. p.s. the lump was found one or one and a half weeks ago, I didn't see my doctor, but this other lady who didn't explain things to me...no medicine, no explanation, just a quick diagnosis 'swollen lymph node' then she walks out. I am going to see my real doctor within a month. i might bring the lymph node up.

If your lymph nodes are swollen, it means your body's fighting something off. So, likely, it is whatever's making you feel ill that's causing this too. I wouldn't worry too much unless the illness persists for over a week, with no change or improvement.
