What's the difference between a face mask and a face scrub? Which one is better to use?

depends on exactly what you want to do, Sweet Lady.

A scrub (face or otherwise) works by grating off dead skin to reveal fresh new skin udnerneath. Such things tend to have salt, sand or nutshels in them to work as an abrasive. Not a good idea if you have very delicate skin.

A facial mask can vary. there are chemical peels, but I don't think those are home treaments. Those work by chemically wearing off your skin, and then the mess is peeled off to reveal fresh skin underneath. Also not a good idea if you have delicate skin. other facial masks moisturize. They don't take off dead skin, though. They feel nice, though, but they're not a good idea if you have oily skin or are prone to acne.

What kind of treatment were you looking into? what did you want for your skin? here's a thread on skin care in general:

Don't be coward like shrimp, be brave like PRAWN!
