When I checked the boards this morning, I noticed ad ad running at the bottom from a car manufacturer advertising new cars.

Knowing the majority of you are struggling to even find minimum-wage jobs (and certainly not being in the financial bracket for even a used car, myself), this really bummed me out.

So, if it did you, or if any of the ads that run just...well, are grossly insensitive to you in any way, I want you to know I'm terribly sorry. If we weren't so strapped as an org, I'd ditch them in a heartbeat, but we just can't afford to. I make a point of screening out anything wildly offensive, but some of it, like this, is just insensitive, which I don't feel good about.

The best I can do right now is an apology, but I wanted to at least give you that.

I did find it somewhat humourous and ironic to notice this advertisement:
Make Him Addicted To You, Just Say This One Thing... & He'll Fall Madly In Love With You

HaveTheRelationshipYouWant.com

It was very appropriately [Razz] placed under the article entitled "He doesn't want to have sex anymore: how can I change his mind?" which was all about why it is a very bad idea to try and coerce your male partner into sexual activities that they're not comfortable with.
