Once again, I've thought about becoming active on these boards.
Thing is, every once and a while I'll link a friend to this website. On the website where I usually talk to said friend[s], I brilliantly chose to use a username similar to the one I've used on here for the past four years. So I'm kind of worried about being recognized - obviously.
I *think* I remember reading a few years ago that if you were to change your public name, you had post here and let everyone know you were going to do so. I just wanted to know if that rule was still relevant, or if it had even existed.

The rule is that we're not okay with people having more than one account, save in special circumstances.
But changing your public name isn't something you need to tell us about, because on our backend, we can still see who you "were."
But thanks for being so conscientious!
