Today I started having a talk with my friend about our views of homosexuality and other non-gender-normative (I hope that's the right vocab?) people and stuff like that. Anyway, she's a Christian and thinks I am too (I haven't told anyone about not being one anymore, but we met as that being a premise in our friendship and I'm not ready to out myself as being atheist just yet), and she was wondering how my views on marriage matched up with the Bible...basically, I want to justify being open with all genders, sexes, and orientations with the Bible as a base because my friend will respect it as a source, but I don't know quite where to start. Thankfully right now we've decided to agree to disagree, but I do want to open her eyes without being disrespectful to her (and what she thinks is my religion. Any help you can give would be extremely helpful, Thanks.

This site is geared towards GLBT Christians. I personally think it has a number of well-written articles about being GLBT and Christian and reconciling those two things from a Biblical perspective.

Do you mean you're looking for a Biblical basis to support marriage as something open to all people? I ask because of you are, you're not likely to find that there, primarily because of the historical period it was written in. The Bible doesn't even technically address homosexuality because that term didn't exist then, but additionally, marriage was conceptualized and practiced very differently during the historical periods of both old and new testament than it is now, even among most male/female heterosexuals.
