Just a whiz-bang nickel tour to introduce you to some features which are different than those of the old boards, or are completely new.
The Board FAQ: This is an intensive list of questions and answers from the creators of the software. nearly any question you might have about the system is answered there.
The member directory: This is new -- it's a nice list of new members, a random "member of the moment," the top posters and a search function expressly to find other members.
Advanced profile editing and preferences: a few more fields than before, including some custom fields that help us to answer your questions more easily and immediately (like your gender, your orienation, your location and your age). You can also get notified when certain topics get new posts via this area.
Polls! We'll now regularly be conducting polls at the boards, to get to know more about all of you, where you're really at, and just to satisfy everyone's curiousity. For the time being, only staff and volunteers may create polls, but everyone can reply and view results.
Plus, I spiffed up the old graphics a bit today, so they'd be all shiny.
There are a whole bunch of other nifty bits, so explore! And if you have any trouble using anything, just leave a note here and we'll do our best to help.
