Okie, i'm having a double posting problem. It only happens in village and i click post message once, but it refreshes itself multiples times and ends up putting 4 or so posts down. Does anyone have any solutions to this problem or know why it would do this?

Village People has always been one of our more "interesting" forums. If it isn't a rash of double-posts, it is posts that don't come through correctly. For me, the forum always seems to take hours to load, and when I have to edit or delete posts, the time consumption has me stamping my feet in protest. I've got a high-speed connection, but that seems to mean nothing in there.

I wish I had some answers, but I know that it has been quirky for quite some time now. So you can cross your fingers when posting, post less often to minimize the effect, or just sort of bear with it and let me know if you need things deleted. I have a feeling it isn't just your browser that doesn't like VP...so we'll see how it goes.

Okie, thanks bruindan. I noticed too that it's one of the slowest forums to load. As you may have noticed (but prolly didn't) i haven't posted for a few days, for fear of another quadruple post fiasco. Hehe, oh well, i'll grin and bear it.
