have some concerns for my friend.
Shes 22, thinks she maybe bi sexual. All her life she has gone out with guys and thought guys were extremely attractive. She has had random sexual thoughts of females throughout her life but never to the point where she thought she would be a lesbian or that she would go through with any of these thoughts. But not she thinks she might be bi because she is having more thoughts because she is worrying or maybe not.. Shes a huge worrier and worries about everything, and has worried her self to the point where she thinks she maybe losing interest in guys when clearly a week ago she was wanting a guy at the bar. She is always worrying and thinks she has something when she really doesnt like aka. a sickness or she thought she was pregnant over 5 times believe she had symptoms of it. Anywyas is it normal for her to have these random sexual thoughts of females at her age and does this mean she is bi or gay or is she just crazy.

She's not crazy and her feelings likely did not just change overnight.

No one is 100% gay or straight and sexuality tends to be rather fluid and change a lot over the course of our lives. It's perfectly normal to examine ones sexuality, especially during our teen years, and notice attractions that were not there before or were not as pronounced before.

Whether your friend is straight or bisexual or lesbian is something she will have to decide for herself. But there is no rush to settle for one thing and announce it to the world, or to ever settle for any label at all.

Not to mention that even females who consider themselves straight will have the odd stray crush on another female. That's perfectly normal and nothing to worry about.

Being "boy crazy" doesn't necessarily stop someone from being attracted to women too.

"Random sexual feelings" can mean different things. Some women who identify as straight have occasional thoughts or fantasies about other women that they don't feel a desire to act on. For other women having thoughts or fantasies about women is part of actually being sexually attracted to other women, and they might identify as lesbian, or bisexual if they're attracted to guys too.

And of course all of these sexual orientations are perfectly "normal".

What your friend wants is something only she can decide for herself. But it's not something to worry about - whatever her orientation turns out to be, that's fine.
