Just a reminder to all of our users, and a request, to please, please, pretty-please remember to search the main site, boards or both for the question or topic you want information on before posting on the boards.
Summer is incredibly busy for us, and we are also usually more short-handed during summer, which is a pretty tricky combination to manage.
Not only was searching before posting something everyone who registers for the boards agrees to when registering -- it's part of the agreement you make with us -- it's also one easy way you can help us manage all the work we have to do, and all the users we need to help when it is so busy.
Scarleteen is celebrating a 15th birthday at the end of this year, so we literally have thousands of thousands of pages of content: the boards alone have hundreds of thousands of answered topics. The chances of NOT finding an answer to a question at this point are extraordinarily slim. I know it's easy to think your situation is utterly unique, but more times than not, it's really not, and is something at least someone has experienced, asked about, and been given information about already.
So, please remember that Scarleteen is a free service for you (and millions of users every year), and do what you can to appreciate that we provide all this to you for free by making some efforts on your own to use what we already have here, and at least see if you can't find what you need with a search before posting, or posting more.
