Hey y'all.

Just a quick reminder and favor-ask from me, which is that those of you asking us something, which we answer, then continuing to ask again and again, when the answer will be the same? Or, when we ask you a question to get information we need to answer, avoiding the question, so we have to keep asking, instead of answering it or saying you don't want to answer? Or, when we've set a limit with you, and instead of respecting it, you try and wiggle around it or just walk right by it?

Please do not do those things.

As many of you know, we are DEEPLY short-handed, especially in direct services of late, for an organization which serves so many people. Not only do repeats like this take away time from users who aren't doing this stuff, they also wear us out and create more work for us when we've already done the job.

If the answers we are giving you aren't satisfying you, let us know that and we'll try another route. If we just aren't working for you in general, then it's on you to take other steps for yourself, like trying other resources to see if they meet your needs better. And if no matter what we say, you can't calm down, then we need you to take care of yourself and figure out how to do that on your own.

But wearing us down to a nub really blows, in a word, and we need everyone here to be mindful of what a free service can mean to the folks providing that service, and pay us a little mutual respect, especially when we set limits with you. We do our level best to respect your limits and boundaries, and all we're asking here is the same from you in turn.
