Hi.

I know that to become a volunteer, miz.s asks. is it the same for becoming an activist? does the number of posts one has affect anything?

No... being a volunteer is different. Activists have at least 40 points. I wasn't asked to be a volunteer until I had at least a couple hundred posts...

Most of us volunteers are a couple years older than the average user (at least). We also have a good amount of experience with issues at ST.
Volunteers are chosen on the quality of their posts, not just the quantity.
