Hi, I wanted to email but couldn't find an address anywhere so I guess this'll have to do!
I'm not very good at remembering to come back to my topics and say thanks for the help I've received here, so I want to thank you now and offer my congratulations for this amazing site. I've seen other sex-ed sites but none of them have achieved your balance of being frank and informative, while still maintaining a conversational tone rather than the condescending persona of an educator. I also think that this forum is one of the most useful things I've ever seen online! Being able to stay anonymous and yet feel assured that you're getting reliable information from experts is invaluable, especially as an embarrassed teenager
A while ago a friend, agonisingly embarrassed, worked up the nerve and started asking me about sex and anatomy and stuff. I referred her immediately to Scarleteen and told her that this place taught me everything I know! She was as grateful for it as I was. Honestly, I was a clueless, inexperienced, nervous wreck and Scarleteen did a great deal for me. You've done an amazing job. It's just a shame that the site doesn't get more exposure; I consider myself very lucky to have accidentally stumbled upon it.

Really, we do FINE with exposure: we've been mentioned and featured in newspaper and magazine pieces throughout our tenure (I once had a talk show request, even, but declined since the intent was clearly to demonize sexually active teens). Despite the fact that we're independent, and have never bought any advertising, Scarleteen is -- and has been for a long time -- the top google result for "sex ed," and we have tens of thousands of users every day, thanks to both how very long we've been around, and the fact that we're widely linked and widely used, which, per how the net works, cultivates even more use and continued high ranking.

Hi, this is the firt post I make here (sorry if my grammar is not that good, english is a second language for me). I've been reading around, and although I'm lucky enough to have a doctor as my best friend, I've found great information about sexuality.
I honestly believe that not only teens should be reading this web, but also grown up people, which let's face it, aren't so clever about sex issues sometimes.
I applaude your work, and strongly encourage to keep educating young people.
Congrats and hugs!!! Pretty Flower (a curiosity about my nick name, it is actually my astrological nahuatl name)
