And to answer a bit more, mostly I read. A LOT. I have wall-to-wall bookshelves in my place that are nothing but sexuality, health and gender studies books, I read journals and newswires on sexual health and sexuality every day.
I don't have medical training, rather my background and training is mostly in general education (I was a classroom teacher for many years in various settings), social activism and sociology, general sexuality and women's holistic/alternative health and the arts.
I also grew up with a mother who was very landmark in a lot of public health in the midwest, including working one of the frist children's AIDS wards back in the day when few people even knew what AIDS and HIV were.
