Alright so back in march I had a pregnancy risk. Actually I'm not too sure it was but I had very limited genital to genital contact and some ejaculate on my stomach.. not near my vagina. Anyways In the morning I started freaking out and searched everything up on google which really scared me. I took plan b within 36 hours. Since then I've had 3 periods.. these were kind of lighter than usual, especially the last one. I've also had 7 negative pregnancy tests. the last one being yesterday. if I was pregnant if be over 19 weeks pregnant. Everyone's told me there no way but I'm still scared and can't get over this. most people would be over it but I'm not because I've had symptoms. I've had sore breasts on and off and I think they've gotten bigger. I had frequent urination and now my stomach has a bump... hopefully bloating? I just wanted to know if I could be this far along and not know? I've also had 7 pregnancy tests so is that a for sure sign by now that I'm not?

Hi Emily,

With regard to "symptoms," I know I've linked this article to you before but I think it's time to read it again: Chicken Soup for the Pregnancy Symptom Freakout's Soul

Seven negative pregnancy tests and three periods are indeed a clear sign that you aren't pregnant; if you don't feel convinced of that at this point, your next step is to find a counselor or therapist you can talk to about the anxiety you're having surrounding this.

yes but this link scares me more cuz I feel like I have most of those symptoms.. Honestly I would be fine if it weren't for the Internet. I just read that some women never get a positive pregnancy test?! like what the heck. and also they're like some women get periods all pregnancy. called decidual bleeding? my last period was light and pretty weird so I'm scared it could be decidual bleeding. but I would for sure know if I was 19 weeks pregnant right?

There's a lot of incorrect information online about pregnancy, so it sounds like you need to stop looking up symptoms and reading about pregnancy online, ok? If someone is pregnant, they are not going to have a series of negative tests, especially several months into pregnancy.

What are you doing to manage your anxiety around this?

Alright you are right.
well I'm always really busy so the only time I think about this pregnancy scare is when I have too much time on my hands. So basically I couldn't be 19 weeks along without knowing?

Obviously emily has gotten her answer at this point but just giving my personal input for future readers. (Granted, im no expert and im not trying to present myself in such a way)
-cum on the stomach wont get you pregnant because ejaculate never touched the vagina
-Plan b severely cuts down on your chances of pregnancy, making them become NEARLY zero
-its impossible to be pregnant and have a period
-if you get a negative pregnancy test 2 weeks after the encounter, its probably correct. Especially if you have taken, and come up negative for 7 of them

I hope future readers who may have similar feelings can rest some in reading this.
