I had sex 3 days after getting off my period, on a day while I was still day and again 2 days after that so 5 days after my period. on the first day of sex, the condom broke while he was inside before he had finished. I know there is still precum before he busts but Im so scared that it could have somehow got me pregnant. I made a quick decision and took the plan b pill about 65 hours later (still within the 72 hour window). I have had very irregular periods my whole life so I have no predicted calendar to base my ovulation off of. please help with answers, I'm so scared that I could be pregnant.

Hi, Anna.

At this point, per the pregnancy risks, all you can really do is wait this out. But you say you want some answers, so perhaps you could be more clear about what your questions are?

Intercourse always poses a risk of pregnancy.

However, that risk is much, much higher when someone actually ejaculates, which is why withdrawal is estimated to be about 96% effective in one year of perfect use, and around 73-85% effective in typical use for one year.

You should figure you used Plan B here AND withdrawal (since he didn't ejaculate), and a condom, even though it failed. But even just those first two methods make your risk incredibly minimal.

Condoms actually rarely break when used properly, so if you want to check in about how to use them properly, happy to do that with you.

if I were to be pregnant, how can you tell the difference between discharge after conception and the discharge of a normal cycle?

That would not be a way that you could tell you were pregnant. The only way to tell is to take a pregnancy test. Pregnancy tests are accurate when taken 14 or more days after the sexual activity that could have led to pregnancy occurred.
