I have just finished my first pack of birth control pill. I am on Micrognon 30 which you take for 21 days then have a 7 day break which you should then get your withdrawal bleed.

Basically on 25th July me and my boyfriend had sex without protection (I was still on the pill then) but I don't think he ejaculated inside me. On Saturday I stayed over his and we did it again but this time he said he did. I was on my 2nd day of withdrawal bleed but I hadn't yet had it. However on the Sunday morning I started my bleed. I have taken the pill religiously everyday and not skipped or missed one and took it roughly at the same time every day.

What are my chances of being pregnant? I'm confused as I'm now on my bleed so does that mean I'm not?

The combination birth control pill is over 99% effective with perfect use and 92% effective in typical use. So, depending on how well you use it and follow the directions that's the level of effectiveness and risk anyone using the pill is looking at when it is used alone for contraception.

A withdrawal bleed should be treated like a period when it comes to pregnancy: the vast majority of the time, when someone gets that bleed or a period around the time it is expected, they can feel certain they did not become pregnant in that previous cycle.
