I have been on ortho tri cyclen lo now for about 8 days. last night my boyfriend (who also happens to be std free, so no worries there, thank god) and i were having sex then the condom broke...he had not ejaculated yet. but he had his pre ejaculate fluid got out. he peed right before us having sex so that takes care of the theory of before peeing before sex then it washes out the sperm from the pre ejac. but okay back to the point. My question here is. is my birth control working? Ive also been experiencing all the symptoms also. if that helps any.

You've had a pregnancy risk. Hormonal BC isn't really effecting until one full cycle has passed. If you do not wish to become pregnant, I'd advise picking up some Emergency Contraception.
