Okay I have been on birth control for a while now and I get my period on the same day each month at the same time. My boyfriend and I have been highly sexually active for the past month and we don't use any form of protection when we're having sex and I also don't make him pull out. I was supposed to start my period last Saturday but it still hasn't come. I've also never missed a pill and I take it at the same time every night.
Is it highly possible that I am pregnant?

Visit me and my life.

While the birth control pill is highly effective against pregnancy, it is not nearly as effective as it would be when combined with a condom. Condoms will protect you from STDs and STIs, as well as offering more protection against pregnancy.

Since you have already missed a period, now is a good time to take a home pregnancy test. Your test will be accurate and reliable at this point. Take another test in a week to verify your results. If one of the tests is positive, or if both tests are negative and you still do not get your period, notify your physician or gynecologist immediately. There may be other health issues at hand.
