I used to work for a woman of about your size and weight. She had 3 kids! Actually being your height and weight was quite common until about 100 years ago. If you are getting proper prenatal care, you should not have a problem.

I have a large frame and large hips, and childbirth was extremely difficult for me. My mom has a frame about like yours, and her second and third babies were born quite easily. Pelvis size generally will not affect how easy or difficult a birth will be.

Women of all shapes and sizes have healthy pregnancies everyday! Your body will stretch and grow to accomodate your baby and even if they don't LOOK big from the outside the pelvic bones will do some amazing things during late pregnancy and childbirth (your entire body will be pretty amazing, really!).

Just because you are a small woman doesn't mean that you will have a tiny baby either. I'm 5'2 and was ~110 before I got pregnant, a petite frame. I had an almost nine pound baby without any complication at all!

Good luck to you!

I know a girl who gave birth naturally in what (given the circumstances) was a pretty quick labor...well 12 hours but still! She's 4'10" 100 lbs with a beautiful 7 month old baby boy now! The best of luck to you
