My friend and I want to be put on birth control..the pill. What is the easiest way to go about this without our parents being involved? I was thinking probably going to planned parenthood? What do all of you on the pill do? Also how much would it cost for a teen?

As long as you use condoms to prevent STIs/STDs, the pill may be a great back-up method for you. As you suspected, Planned Parenthood is a good place to start. They can advise you, but normally you can get low-cost pill packs from PP centers or from clinics in your area.
