May i know how much would it roughly cost to perform an abortion? After abortion woul the be any side effests and how long does an abortion take?

Medical abortion (non surgical) side effects include:

- Strong cramps
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Temporary abdominal pain
- Bleeding

Surgical abortion health risks can be found here, on the Planned Parenthood website.

You should speak to a doctor at a Sexual Health Clinic to get a better idea of what side effects are related to the method you may choose. And if you haven't already done so, make sure you take a pregnancy test to find out if you are pregnant first.

A surgical abortion generally takes 10 - 20 minutes to perform the actual surgery. Waiting times and counselling may take longer before and afterwards.
