I'm female and I have a HUGE crush on my best friend (also female). I haven't come out as bi, I changed the FB is interested in thing to both men and women but none of my close friends(besides a few from a LGBT friendly summer camp that I've been to) really use facebook. I don't know how the friends who live in my state feel about LGBT stuff (I've heard all the you learn who your real friends are when you come out but I've never had many friends and I want to keep the ones I've got.) I think she might be bi/lesbian because she has rejected a lot of nice guys who've asked her out and says she doesn't really want a boyfriend. She's said that she "ok with, but feels weird about LGBT people," she also has a guy friend who is gay.

Do any of you think she might be Lesbian/Bisexual?
Any advice about coming out?

I'm so sorry your post was missed, Randomelle.

Unfortuantely, nobody can give you any information on your best friend's sexual orientation. We can't tell anything from her actions.

However, having one crush on one person of a similar gender to you doesn't automatically mean you're bisexual in and of itself. This is because individuals are so much more than just their genders; and one person cannot represent their entire gender.

However, if you choose to identify yourself as bi (nobody else can ever make that choice for you) it's up to you when you come out, and who to. While 'I'm okay with, but feel weird about LGBT people' isn't an ideal response in terms of you feeling safe enough to come out to her, is coming out something you feel really ready to do?
