I didn't know where else to go with this because he made me promise to not tell, I need to know if I should break that or not:
I have this really close guy friend, he's 21, and just recently he confessed something to me and I wasn't sure how to take it... he says that, one of the reasons he needs his alone time is because, he pretends... like, imaginary friends or something. He didn't go into detail he just said that he never feels like he's truly alone when he is alone. He says he, always has people in his head with him??? To the point of talking to them even in daylight...he says he knows it sounds crazy but he can't seem to stop it..... I have no idea what this is or what to do

Well, it's really hard to say, because almost everybody has times where they play out situations alone, talk to themselves, or even carry on imaginary conversations. Heck, I regularly bounce around like a nut while I listen to music pretending I'm performing, and that could well classify as a delusion of grandeur with my voice. [Razz]

If this is really upsetting your friend or disrupting his life, he can always talk to a school counselor/teacher about what's going on.
