I feel so broken. I just got over a 2 month bladder infection from hell and two or three weeks later here i am with another bladder infection. Its hurts to walk, to pee, to sit, to just exist. I have to set my alarm for 5 am so i dont pee the bed. I need some emotional support. I havent told my mum because i dont want her to know im sexually active. but now im thinking i should. Last time i had to take the set of pills twice because the first time didn't work and i still had a bit of one after that till it faded away. Someone help me. Im so embarrased, and In pain...Any moral support or tips? And to top it all off i have an exam in 3 days...what do i do then!? i cant go to the washroom during and the pain is so destracting. This infection gives me depression and ill i do is cry.

First off, bladder infections aren't always sexually transmitted. bacteria can get into the bladder or urinary tract any number of ways, and infection occur for lots of reasons. Stress, not staying hydrated enough, non-cotton undergarments, all of these things can be contributors or causes.

But bladder infections should NOT be lasting two months. Once given an antibiotic, it should provide relief in just a couple days, and tratment should only last a week or so. As well, bladder infections don't cause a lack of bladder control, quite the opposite: it's difficult to urinate at all with them.

So, sounds like you need a visit to your doctor that's very comprehensive to be sure that IS what this is and to treat whatever it is properly.
