According to the CA state law, any "sexual activity" between a minor and a legal adult is illegal. To me this seems rather ambiguous. I have no issue understanding the age restrictions; my nineteen-year-old boyfriend could be registered as a sex offender if certain things happen between him and I (I am only fifteen). However, I am curious as to where the law draws the line. Is it illegal for us to kiss? To hug? For him to feel my breasts? Almost any physical contact can be considered sexual, depending on context. Can anyone give me a legal definition of the term "sexually activity"?
Thanks!

In the state of California, however, as is the case with most states, there is a grace period of years between an adult/minor, and in Cali, it's three years, so your boyfriend is outside that window.
But since that's still fairly ambiguous, since your boyfriend is the legal adult here, my suggestion would be for him to call legal aid and ask for clarification.
