Normally, I'd let silly things like this slide by un-noticed. Frankly, I think it's stupid to have pills to loose weight anyway, but that's another topic on a different forum.

So, why am I brining this up?

Because I'm irritated. They've cleared the way for weight loss pills, which in my opinion can be detrimental to one's self esteem and physical health but they won't vote to sell Plan B over the counter. Some of you may remember the letter writing campaign that Miz S set up. Here's another discussion on the topic.

So, to the point. What are your thoughts on this situation? I'm not looking to discuss the validity of the products themselves, but rather the message being sent in allowing weight-loss pills to be sold over the counter while emergency contracption remains locked in the back.

So? What do you think?

What do i think? I think i'm gonna laugh at the dumbasses who buy Xenical over the counter, then fart a giant, foul-smelling oil stain in their pants because they think diet drugs will solve all their problems for them.

yes, the side-effect of this drug is that you will leak crap-stinking oil out your butt. you will also get horrid diarrhea if you don't change your eating habits. it's like Antabuse for fatty food.

so if you're chafed that EC isn't OTC yet, then take comfort knowing that the FDA is going to enable some of the worst grease stains America has ever seen.
