in a lonely apartment a big empty house a strategically parked car in the city and also the suburbs and also the country and it starts out simple just like in the movies which all they know and how they expect it to be and life is so hard and school is a bitch and parents don't care or they care way too much and one thing leads to another and many adults aren't all that much better and there's a brief moment, and then without further pause for thought they pray that they won't get caught
and in a perfect world i would make a mad dash in vaginaman, the defender of safe sex so that everyone who needs them has condoms and knows how to store them and knows how to use them and girls can take pills and know what's going on in their bodies and have a choice and free will and nothing's a mystery and everybody's honest about their sexual history and there's no such thing as an unwanted pregnancy and there's no such thing as dying from hiv and there's no such thing as rape or illegal activity and the first time you do it you're prepared emotionally and everyone would get advice (and not a lecture) from their mother as much as they try to protect us it's going to happen one way or another
and in a perfect world they would teach it in schools but it's easier said than done (so they say) however, so is taking care of a child at fourteen babies having babies (i'll give you a clue, teaching abstinance may be proper but it doesn't work) we don't live in a perfect world and if we stopped lying to ourselves we might find another way, you see and then i could retire and my memory would inspire and we wouldn't need vaginaman to save the day
Hey! I'm going to send this over to Village People. It fits better there than in Sex Ethics and Politics. See ya over there!
