Would it be illegal for a thirteen year old and a fourteen year old to have sex? The age of consent in New York when I recently checked was seventeen. Would the fourteen year old guy get in trouble for having sex with a thirteen year old girl? If he would then I think that's wrong because the girl cosented to it so she's to "blame" too.
