Hi.

For a class in school, me and a group of other students are doing a project on Abstinence vs. Birth Control. We were wondering, what laws are in place that prohibit the discussing of different methods of Birth Control and STD/STI prevention. We thank you in advance for any information that you can offer. It would also be really nice if you could offer your opinions on the various laws as well and give permission to be quoted.

There aren't laws which prohibit that.

It's a matter of public funding. If US schools presently want federal (not necessarily state) funding for their sex ed, it needs to be abstinence-based until heterosexual marriage.
