I know this belongs in this forum cause its about a friend..and relationship is about, family, friends and whatever junk...but yes anyways
This friend is a really close friend..i believe everything she says...cause i kinda see her mom being mean to her..i've only seen it once...not violently..but i do believe her...but anyways..my friend's mom slammed her fingure in the door, and it took forever for the nail to come off...and if it was an accident she never said sry. so that wasn't good...and i know she has been comlaining about her mom for a long long time..she is always in fights w/ her...because ..well i don't know why yet..but she gets in alot of fights....and her mom just isn't motherly to her..i mean look at this im thing she said to me.."my mom tried to kill me...n then she unplugged my alarm and i didnt wake up b/c i didnt get to go to bed until 2 b/c i was fighting wiht her and then the storm woke me up and then i didnt get up until 930 and then she left and i was stuck at home all day" i sweat she wrote that..cause i just copied and pasted it....she has said a couple times that her mom tried to kill her..and she (i know) has been in LOADS of fights w/ her mom..its sad..i want to help her..cause i know and think it is morally wrong for her mom to treat her like that..i mean i understand for teens and parents to get in fights and argue, but nothing really like this..i want to help her..and would love a couple of suggestions on what she could do..please help..and thank you

The best advice I have for a case like this is to talk to an adult about it. . . a teacher, a parent (obviously not your friend's mom), or any other adult you can trust. It's true, most adults will feel obligated to report suspected abuse, but this is obviously a harmful relationship, so you should report it and encourage your friend to tell an adult what's going on.
