Do you guys think it's important to tell your significant other "I love you" at least once a day, or is that overkill? Are actions enough? Does saying it too frequently lessen its meaning?
I was just wondering and wanting some opinions. I frequently feel like saying "I love you" to my significant other, but he doesn't like to say it as much, not because he doesn't love me, but just because it's already implied and maybe because saying it too much detracts from the meaning.
Because of this, I've found new, more expressive ways to show my love and adoration, and really, I kind of like it better than using those three little words all the time.
Roxie: I think this really just depends more on the people involved. Also? Sometimes even when you're thinking about. Sometimes, I'll just pop out with "You know I love you, right?" even though I know my fiancee does. Sometimes it's in a look or action. But also, it's a lot about the person and how their mind works, some people may say it all the time, others sometimes, others barely at all.
