Hey there, i havent been here for a while, since then, a lot of things happened in my life, one of them, i broke up with my boyfriend whom i had a sick relationship (if we can call that a relationship), well, after almost 6months, i found a new guy, we been together for a year now and we are engaged, i do love him, and i do see my life with him.. hes got so many good qualities but, theres one thing that concerns me.. before me, he was in a 4 years relationship with this girl. They're been apart almost the same time that i have apart from my ex. however, she still loves him, and somehow looks for him hoping to get back together... that makes me feel insecurity, and makes me think that maybe theyre supposed to be together. My fiance says he feels nothing for her whatsoever, but in my insane thoughts, ive even felt that maybe, hes with me, or hes getting married with me just to get her out of her mind?? i dont know, hes showed me his love and support in so many ways, is just her love for him that makes me doubt about this whole situation. What do i do to get some peace? [Frown]

Maybe you need to slow the pace down so that you have time to build more trust and security?

Making plans or agreements about big commitments before you feel very secure in them is generally not the wisest move, so you might want to consider that some of why you're feeling like you are could be moving towards something as big as marriage too quickly.
