I have known this girl for 1 year+. I've asked her out and she said yes, but that things should get started around december because of college applications and stuff. I asked her if she liked me and she said "What do you think." so i took that as a yes. But after like 1 or 2 weeks she said she was not ready for a relationship. I am really confused about this act. Is the problem me or is it just her? I really like her so what should I do. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks

girl's just got other priorities. she does seem to like you, but lets face it, college is HUGE. i just finished apps for medical school, and lemme tell you, applying to any school is a lot of work. i did not have a life for a while. the end of high school is a tough time for a lot of people because it is a big transition. she may be in a state of flux right now and not able to give you a stable kind of relationship. so if that's what you were looknig for, be glad she was honest about not being able to give that to you.
however, i think it'd still be nice to take her on a date. try asking her out to do something specific and noncommittal and maybe she'll say yes. how about bowling?
