i am nineteen. my boyfriend of five months is twenty-one. we are most certainly in love (each of us having been involved in long-term relationships in the past) and remind each other frequently. right now we live about 90 miles apart.

i leave for europe for seven months in january. at that point, we'll only have been dating for nine months. is it fair to ask him to wait that long? he knows i'm leaving. when should i bring it up as a discussion? what should i say? i don't even know what i want, open to other dating or not, except to be able to come home to him.
