there is a person who i realy fancy and evryone agrees she is good lookin and they say she is reaaly shy and not very popular so im a bit worried if i should ask her out cause my friends will take the mick plz reply cheers

It's hard to date someone who your friends don't approve of. But really, all that should matter is what you think of her. Perhaps you can help them see what it is that you see in her.

Lets see here... your friends don't approve of her. Is there some reason for this? If you don't like what they think, then ignore them or tell them to shut up. If YOU like her, that's what counts.

Coolest makes a good point. You shouldn't ever let what your friends think get in the way. Because then you'll only miss out and regret a lot of things. All that matters is what you think. And if they pay you out or anything for liking or going out with this chick, then they are not very good friends. When i first went out with my boyfriend everyone was suprised because they never saw us as ever being a match but now they think we are incredibly suited to each other.

If you let what your friends say get in the way you may miss out on a perfect oppurtunity. And even if they do taske the mickey out of you, it will blow over and they'll get used to it.
