Once in fourth grade, I was heavily over Mark, my crush and still is(I'm 14). Once he bought a bracelet for this other girl and she didn't except it. He asked me if I wanted it becuase it would look pretty on you. He blew me away. That was when I was young and nieve, though so any compliment from my crush was flattering.

i'm not sure if this counts as "sweetest," but on a college paper i recently got back the TA commented that my writing was "grammatically delightful," which i thought was great :-)

My last boyfriend gave me the best compliments ever. He always told me I was perfect and the best girlfriend ever. That I think was the best thing I ever heard, along with I was doing things to him chicks had never done. That was quite a mind blowing thing for me to hear. I think when he told me I had cute ears was great too, since he totally meant it, and it made me seem like he enjoyed every part of me. Which is always a good feeling. Unfortunately we aren't together anymore, which bums me out a bit, but it was for the best.

Well, sometimes guys will tell me I'm hot and what not, and its always nice to hear, but most the time I figure its more for my body than it is for my face (I have some well rounded attributes, if you catch my drift)so I dont take it to heart often. So, as far as me actually feeling pretty, I usually dont. One day, I was bussing tables at work. My hair was pulled back in a pony-tail, I had barely any make-up on. I felt very unpretty that day. I was standing in the corner, watching for empty tables when this woman came up to me out of nowhere and said "You are so pretty!" It absolutely made my day. I felt beautiful after that.
Another sweet thing someone has said to me that I will always remember was from my ex-boyfriend. When we were together, I was driving down my road w/him in the passenger seat. My road is a country road, and there is no speed limit sign or lines painted on it, so I was driving pretty fast. It is really dangerous to do that because so many other people drive down my road really fast, and because there are no lines they dont stay on their side, so going over the big hills on the road can be life-threatening. Anyways, as I was speeding down the road, my boyfriend turned to me with this worried look on his face and told me that he didn't want me to go more than 40 mph on the road because it was so dangerous and he didnt want me to get hurt. No one ever cared about me that much before to say something like that.

The best compliment I've ever had was when my friend walked up to me in the hallway at school and said "If I could choose anyone to take over the world with, it would be you". It made my day!

That is exactly how I feel. This guy I am seeing is always saying something like "your beautiful" "you skin is soft like silk" or to my sister "your sister is pretty hot" Then a different guy months ago said to my friend who I almost hooked up with "why do you deserve young, beautiful Lynsey?" I've had many compliments but Im self conscience so I'm just like "what ever" then they argue with me...

Last night i went to a party and i got up all dressed up to try and impress the boy i like. When he didn't even notice i got a bit upset. Then another boy at the party came up and told me that I looked stunning. I've always thoguht i was really ugly and this really gave me a confidence boost. It helped me with the pain of finding my crush in bed with someone else.

"I love you so much, it almost seems impossible."
"You (kiss) are (kiss) ABsolutely beautiful."
"I want to give you everything."
The other day I asked him if he was sure he wanted to come to my family's Christmas, since he was basically going to be watching me open all my presents. He said, "I'm sure." I asked why, and he said, "Because then I get to see your face light up, even if I didn't cause it." That just about did it for me.

Well, it was on Saturday and me, my mom, and my b/f John, were driving to take my b/f home. John and I were at the back cuddling, then suddenly he says:
John: You know you're sexy right? Me: I guess. John: Well, don't let anyone tell you you're not, because you are.
I loved that compliment, I think it was my best one, unless I'm forgetting some

I had a friend who i had a few classes with during my highschool career, and we would always talk and make each other laugh. One day he moved to another school, and he later contacted me online, and he told me he was gay, and for the longest time he wanted to tell me and he wanted me to ask him, cause it was hard for him to say...he told me later that i was one of the few people that got him through highschool, and possibly even this most crucial part of his life, he had a lot of problems, and when hed come to 7th period and see me it would all be okay. I donno, i dont remeber, or can possibly justify what exactly his words said to me were, or how it made me feel...but it was amazing... how much you can effect someone and never know it. another thing... I donno, this is silly but i was in a play once at my school and there was a guy and he went around telling the other cast how great and amzingly talented they were, and when he came to me, all he said was..."your so pretty"... :$

Wow, I have a lot of sweet compliments that I remember. The greatest one, though, had to be when I was nine years old and in the fourth grade. When I was nine, I know that I must have been close to obese, if not obese (yay! Michigan, fattest kids in the country award!). Somehow, I guess I was so nice, that no one ever made a big deal out of it, so I had no body image issues or anything, and I was comfortable with who I was, although I was not the healthiest I could have been.
I was aware of my size, but that was me. To this day, although no where close to obese, I have never been the average weight, I think since 2 months old.
So blah, useless background information.
There was a new boy who had just moved into school (along with my to-be best friend), and I had a slight crush on him for the first few weeks and then wised up when I realized what a jokester he was and...we became friends.
So, one day, before my mother was about to pick me up, he came with another one of my friends and he said something to the effect of,
"Chinyere, you are truly beautiful, one of the most beautiful people I know. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise."
That's got to be the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me, especially coming from a 9-year-old boy.

From a guy, that I have a quasi-rivalry, love hate relationship with. (wont even get into that, its complicated.) He said "I dont hate you, your just an easy target" It was one of the nicest things hes ever said to me. also, i've been not feeling good. and at work I worked 9 hours, and he said some mean things, but my mom asked me if I needed to do dishes as I walked out and he said he'de finish them for me. So that was another one of the nicest things he ever said.

My boyfriend never fails to give me the best compliments just about everyday... Once, we had been broken up for a little while and I was telling him about my best friend, Adriane, she told me that my smile always helped cheer her up when she was feeling down, and his exact response was "Of course, that beautiful smile of yours could cheer anyone up!" Then for Valentines day, he bought me a single peach rose (my favorite) and the card said, "I love you with all my heart. I know we've been through a lot, but now I feel that I am where I truly belong... with you!" He's the greatest!!!
