okay me and my bf had unprotected sex two weeks ago right after my period ended, i got nervouse so i took the EC. well a few days later i had sex agiain with him, but this time i was bleeding and had my period all over again with cramps and all. i discovered it was because of the EP because this has never happened before, but he always pulls out, i know there is still a risk but should i be taking it again just in case?? im freaking out! i am due to have an apointment with my gyno next month to get BC but i am scared now! thanks

If you had unprotected sex again after taking EC, and you do not want to become pregnant, you'll want to consider taking EC again.

Withdrawal is one of the least effective methods of birth control, and if you do not wish to become pregnant, you really should look into something more reliable. Talking to your doctor about birth control is a great idea, and in the meantime you can easily use condoms to cut down on both pregnancy and STI risks.

In the meantime, you can take a test at 10-14 days after the risk for accurate results.
