my last period was nov 14. i have not had intercourse but my boyfriend and i do mess around a little bit of course. i cant recall anytime where his cum or precum could have been near my vaginal areas. so i really dont think im pregnant but the thought of a late period scares me in that direction. a couple of weeks ago i did some sit-ups and a couple days after i was very sore in my bladder and uterine areas. i also pressed down on that area and i feel a little tenderness on my right side. i also have lower back pains. i also was stressing over finals recently and my schedule has changed. i dont know what to do i really dont want to have a baby.

Your late period could be due to the stress you've been experiencing lately especially if you haven't had any pregnancy risk to begin with. Other possible causes of a late period are described here .

What I would suggest to ease your worries is to take a pregnancy test which you can do now given your period is already late.

Per the soreness you experienced after you exercised few weeks ago, has it come back to normal now ? If not, then you might want to get this checkout by a doctor and, depending on how long you've had your back pain (if it's been going on for weeks or more), you might also want to get that checkout as well by a GP.

If you haven't had a risk, really, you shouldn't worry yourself.

Chances are, nothing you've experienced so far (the back pain, sore stomach area) has anything to do with pregnancy. Stress, changes in your daily routine/life can cause changes in your body which can lead to delayed periods.

It is totally normal, when you don't want to become pregnant, to worry about that risk; in that light, having a late period can be very frightening. If you are terribly concerned, you can buy a pregnancy test, but I don't think it's necessary. Try to relax, OK?

It's possible during exercising that you pulled a muscle which could have explained the pain you experienced but that very likely doesn't explain your late period.

Then, it's possible that it might just be your period coming up shortly. You can either wait to see or if you are too worried, then you can take a pregnancy test as suggested to ease your worries. How does that sound ?
