I recently missed a pill and know that i am meant to use extra protection for seven days, however I did not have enough active pills in my pack for the full seven days. As it was my last pack and i was still waiting for my next pack i had to go on to the inactive pills. I am now back on the active pills and was wondering if there is any risk they may not be working effectively. I have been to see a nurse who said it is ok to carry on without extra protection, however i got the impression she was a bit confused what i was saying so now i am a bit worried. any help greatly appreciated
thanks

I'm not sure what your active or inactive pills have to do with extra protection. What extra protection means is using a condom or abstaining from any sex that has a pregnancy risk. It does not mean doubling up on your pills.
[Whoops, it looked like there was a board glitch and you wound up with two threads. I'm going to close this one and keep the other one open.]
