this question is in concern of a friend of mine... hiv/aids.. its spread by contact with blood/semen/vaginal fluids, is this correct and is there anything else? And also, how specifically would it get into your body? if you had gotten infected semen onto your skin would it get into your body only if there was a cut on your skin? Or does it just penetrate the skin regardless? ... But mainly, if a guy is going down on a girl, is this a definite way of contracting hiv/aids (if she is already infected with it?) or would he have to have some kind of cut/sore/etc in his mouth? please help asap .. thanx

sorry.. i finally found the link to your section on hiv/aids.. the only thing i know now though, is what it is spread by (blood emen, etc.) but it also said saliva .. so kissing someone would spread hiv/aids .. or does that go under the idea that you have to have an open wound in your mouth in order for you to contract it?

The thing is, saliva can transmit HIV, but it's very very unlikely to do so. But even though the risk is low, it's not zero, so it cannot be ruled out. you're right, though. The risk for transmission increases when ther is a sore in the mouth. Sores in the mouth can occur if you bite your tongue, or if you brush or floss too vigorously.
