I have just found out I am pregnant. And i really dont know what to do me and boyfriend broke up before I foud out he really wants me to keep the baby but i am so confused. I dont even know how far on I am you see my last period was in april but it wasnt as heavy or as long as normal i was also dieting do I dont know if thats what has caused an abnormal period I had sex with my ex about 3 weeks before this. then the last time was 15th may so i could be anything between about 3 weeks and 12 weeks.

One of my best friends had a baby last year and my other best friend is 4 months pregnant just now Im only 18 and i jus dont know wot to do all my friends and my ex really want me to keep it but its my choice they say i know in my mind that i aint ready to have a child but my heart doesnt agree. I just dont know what to do.

HELP !!!

I cant make up my mind what way to wear my hair never mind if I should have a baby or not I wish someone could tell me what to do because I have no gut reactions what so ever.

I spoke to my doctor today who scanned my stomach with a heartbeat monitor scan thing and there wasnt a heartbeat yet so he says I have to phone him next week to tell him if i want an abortion or not.

Please Help me !!

This is precisely what we call an emergency or crisis around here.

I'd suggest you see your doctor again as soon as possible if you are unsure how far along you are; a simple ultrasound scan would help the doctor figure out just how far along you are. Time is of the essence here, so we're talking tomorrow or within the next week. If the doctor used a doppler and did not find a heartbeat, it is unlikely you are very far along, as dopplers can find heartbeats in the first trimester.

The decision to abort is yours and yours alone. There are threads for women who have had abortions that you can read; also, there are articles about abortion on the main site.
There is a Support Groups thread here:

and an article here, to get you started:

You can also find many voices of experience - adoption, abortion, parenthood - over at GirlMom.

Regardless of what you decide, the decision is yours and any decision you feel comfortable making will be the right decision for you.

Good luck to you, and don't hesitate to come back if you need more help and support.
