ok heres the thing...i last had my period on january 15 up to jaunary 23. then i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on february 3. i havent had sex since then...but we had a scare..he didnt pull out fast enough but we never knew if any got in me. i had a very short light period with brown blood on febrary 16 up to february 20. now on any normal month i would always have a heavy red long peiod that sometimes lasts 9 days. i have never had light periods ever since i very first started. i skipped my period in march that i should have had on march 15. im kinda sure im pregnant. i have had some pregnancy symptoms like nasea tender swollen breasts sleepiness short sharp pains in my low abdomen ect...could i still be pregnant even though i had a short period in february? please answer asap...thanx so much...

Withdrawal is not birth control and never has been. Trust me, some sperm got into you in your boyfriend's pre-ejeculate. What you need to do now is take a pregnancy test. Enough time has passsed to take one immediately. Please be sure to follow all the instructions on the package insert. If the result is negative, take a second test 7 days later to confirm. Many pregnancy test kits actually contain two tests exactly for this eventuality. If the test is positive, then you have some very serious decisions to make.

In either case, you and your boyfriend will also need full STD screens to make sure something else didn't pass between you.
