Likely what happened if you had a partial hymen was that it simply got some tiny tears or abrasions, which can cause bleeding. Or, partial hymen or no, if he was penetrating your vagina with his hands and not wearing latex gloves and/or using lubricant, there may have been some abrasions caused to your genital tissue that way as well.

Spotting a day or so later can be normal and okay. If it continues past that, see your gynecologist. And for future reference, gloves and lube are your pals.
