I'm on birth control (Alesse 21), and I used it to skip my period this month by not taking my off week (fine by my doctor). I have about a week left to go until I get my period again (i.e. I've been without a period for approx. five weeks), and my breasts have suddenly gotten super sore. My boyfriend and I aren't having sex, but we've pretty much gone all the way otherwise, although he's never come on or around my vagina and we're usually pretty careful about waiting for semen to dry if he's got it on his hands/I on mine before we go sticking them down there. I usually take my pill within a pretty careful 2.5-3hr window (10PM-1230AM) and I have NEVER missed one. What's up? Is pregnancy possible? (I realise I'm being a bit stupid about this, but I'm paranoid, OK?) Should I see my doctor, or just wait 'til my period comes and see what happens? Anyway, words of advice from anyone who's well versed in this sort of thing would be appreciated.

Breasts are cranky body parts sometimes and particularly susceptible to hormones.
It doesn't sound like there's anything to worry about at this point. If the pain doesn't subside by the time your withdrawal bleed (which is what a period is actually called when someone is on hormonal birth control) is finished, then a trip to your doctor would be a good idea. For now though, it really doesn't sound like there's any cause for concern.
