I've been on Ortho Tri Cyclen generic for a year and a half. I'm currently having high blood pressure and I want to stop taking it. I'm 2 pills away from my placebo week (last active pill will be tomorrow night), could I just stop taking it now? I've only had sex once this pill pack and it was weeks ago. Thank you! It would probably be fine to stop taking it now, but calling your doctor or pharmacist to double check would be a good idea. For the record, two more active pills won't really make a difference as far as your blood pressure goes, so if you do take them, it's not something to be concerned about.
