My gf swithced pills, went to the generic... we had unprotected sex 2 days before her period.. there should be almost no risk becuse of the ovulation and that fact that it was about 48 days before she got her period correct?

So she switched from the name brand to the generic for that pill, correct? If so, she should have been no increased risk due to the switch. She would be protected at the usual typical or perfect use rates (depending on how she takes her pill).

correct... I was just curtious if having sex just before her period further decreses the risk of pregnancy... we usually use 2 forms of birth control but didn't this time

Honestly, everyone's cycles are so different it's tough to say whether it would really make a difference.
