So I'm having a little bit of a pregnancy care, although truthfully I have a tendency to panic unnecessarily...so we'll see.
But I was just hoping you could answer some questions and help me find my actual risk. I was on the placebo week in my pack, but it was at the tail end, that Saturday, and I had just stopped getting my period/bleeding. My boyfriend and I were having sex and after he came, when I went to grab the condom, it was right on the head of his penis, still covering it but not like it's quite supposed to. When I looked at the condom it looked like most of, if not all, of the semen was inside the condom.
So I guess I'm asking 1) is this a very big risk and 2) would being on the placebo part of my pack have made this risk increase, since I wasn't taking the pills with the hormone? Also, if I took a pregnancy test, would it come up positive even if I wasn't pregnant, due to the extra hormones in my body?
To add: I've never missed a pill, nor ever been significantly late in taking one.

The pill is just as effective during the placebo pill as the active pills so long as you are taking your pills correctly, including starting the next pack of pills on time.
It also sounds like the condom had not slipped OFF, so this is not likely to create a higher pregnancy risk than if it hadn't. The big diff if a condom has been barely on is around STI risks with STIs that can be transmitted by skin, not with pregnancy.

Oh my goodness, I am so relieved. My boyfriend and I both have a clean bill of health, so my main concern was pregnancy. Thanks so much Heather!
