So, I was out of the country for two weeks and was less than diligent about taking my pill on time. I got back last Wednesday and had sex with my boyfriend, and the condom broke. About 18 hours later, I took Next Choice. My period is two days late, which I expected because of all of the different hormones, and I also had some breakthrough bleeding (it's a new pill) on my trip for 2-3 days. I wanted to know if it was too early for me to take a pregnancy test, for my peace of mind?

Thanks in advance!

Since your period is late, you can test now, but if it still doesn't show by the end of your placebo week I'd go ahead and test again.
